Mosquito-borne diseases are infectious diseases caused by bacteria, parasites or viruses. These can be transmitted through the bite of an infected mosquito. The burden of these diseases is highest in tropical and subtropical regions, but some diseases are emerging in Europe.
This questionnaire is intended for general practitioners and general practice assistants. Its aim is to assess the current state of knowledge, attitudes and clinical practices among general practitioners regarding certain mosquito-borne vector-borne diseases. This will provide a better understanding of training needs, as well as practices and access to information in this field.
It is important to answer based on your current knowledge and experience. We invite you to answer spontaneously, without consulting any reference material on the subject.
This questionnaire is not an individual assessment. Data collection is anonymous and the results will be presented in aggregated form. All information will be stored in encrypted form on a secure server accessible only to the research team, for a period of five years. Data processing complies with privacy principles and current data protection regulations. The study was developed in consultation with regional health authorities, Domus Medica, the Scientific Society of General Practice (SSMG) and infectious disease specialists.
