Introduction to the Survey
This research study explores the consumption patterns and domestic uses of food products containing hemp or hemp-derived ingredients, such as seeds, oil, flour, and protein.
Research Objective: Our focus is on general habits, frequency of use, and typical portion sizes. Crucially, we investigate culinary practices, as preparation methods (such as heating or storage) can influence the chemical stability of naturally occurring compounds.
Scientific Rationale Recent scientific literature indicates that heat-induced decarboxylation can significantly alter the concentration of naturally occurring phytocannabinoids in hemp foods. By reporting your specific cooking temperatures and durations, you contribute to a more accurate model of actual constituent intake compared to "as-purchased" raw product analysis.
